About EV Cost Calculator

Most EV cost tools either use national averages or hide their assumptions. We built calculators that use state electricity and state or regional gas averages, show every assumption, and let you change anything.

We're independent. We don't sell cars, chargers, or leads, and no manufacturer pays for placement. The calculators are free to use. Advertising is disabled for launch.

Our data comes from the U.S. Energy Information Administration and fueleconomy.gov. See the methodology for every formula and source.
